Известный китайский производитель телевизоров из Гонконга - компания TPV, владеющая в настоящее время телевизионной торговой маркой Philips планирует в 2014 году серьезное расширение производства.
Компания надеется изготовить и продать 8 - 10 млн. телевизоров под собственным брендом, а также изготовить и отгрузить по заказу 16 - 18 млн. ЖК LED телевизоров для других производителей, которые доверяют TPV сборку по т. н. контрактам ODM (Original Device Manufacturing).

ODM поставки TPV в 2014 году будут включать модели с экранами от 32 до 50 дюймов. Из них 3 млн. ЖК телевизоров Vizio для американского рынка, 1,5 млн. телевизоров для китайской компании LeTV и один миллион для другого китайского производителя Haier, а также в общей сложности почти миллион телевизоров по заказу Sharp, Panasonic и Sony.

В действительности в январе-сентябре 2013 года на заводах TPV было собрано по контактам ODM 10,2 млн. телевизоров и 39,9 млн. мониторов, на долю TPV пришлось 31,7 % продаж на китайском рынке, 27,2 % на европейском рынке и 16,3 % на североамериканском. За весь 2013 год TPV изготовит 15 млн. ЖК телевизоров.
