Новые сроки утверждены согласно изменениям в концепцию "Развитие телерадиовещания в РФ на 2009-2015 годы", опубликованы на официальном портале правительства РФ.<br /><br />Сейчас цифровое телевидение использует около половины населения страны. В "новые" регионы "цифра" обычно приходит с набором из десяти базовых каналов. Как вы знаете, пакет бесплатных каналов утверждён президентом и не может быть изменён. Таковых будет восемь, среди них «Россия», Первый канал, «Культура», «Спорт»,  «Вести 24», НТВ, «Петербург - 5 канал». Восьмой - детско-юношеский, его ещё только предстоит создать.<br /><br />Переход к новому форматы можно сравнить с появлением цветного телевидения вместо черно-белого, обычные телезрители отмечают повышение качества за счет более четкого изображение, стабильного сигнала. Единственным неудобством может стать необходимость приобретения приставки, если телевизор не поддерживает формат DVB-T2. Через приставку цифровой сигнал можно будет принимать и на старые аналоговые телевизоры.<br /><br />Достоинства перехода на цифровое вещание объясняет первый заместитель генерального директора телеканала «Россия» Александр Любимов.<br /><br />Во-первых, с переходом на цифровое вещание значительно улучшится качество изображения и звука. Во-вторых, «цифра» позволит развивать наше телевидение как интерактивную сеть. Условно говоря, вы сможете участвовать в телевикторинах,  каких-либо опросах или голосованиях, просто нажав определённую кнопку на пульте дистанционного управления телевизором. В-третьих, этот переход позволит в будущем значительно экономить государственные деньги, которые тратятся на передачу телевизионного сигнала в нынешнем аналоговом режиме. Цифровое вещание существенно дешевле аналогового при передаче. Это энергосберегающая технология. Разумеется, переход потребует немалых затрат, но эти затраты одноразовые и быстроокупаемые. Ну, и ещё одно преимущество цифрового вещания - его высокая степень безопасности. Запустить в эфир нелицензированный телесигнал станет невозможно даже теоретически.<br /><br />На сегодняшний день телевизионный сигнал покрывает 98% территории России. Больше не нужно. Сейчас в стране есть всего пара мест, где не решена проблема с федеральным вещанием. Предполагается, «цифра» поможет этот вопрос наконец решить.
