Компания Panasonic объявила о прекращении производства плазменных телевизоров. Для многих специалистов это событие стало главной новостью уходящего года. Продолжаем публиковать отклики специалистов по этому поводу.

Спасибо компании Panasonic за долгое лидерство в плазменной технологии, даже если, в конце концов, это было и не так выгодно, как делать автомобильные аккумуляторы. Лишившиеся в свое время плазм Куро поклонники домашнего кино благодарны компании, иначе они вынуждены были бы смотреть Blu-ray на ЖК экранах. Пожалуйста, приступайте теперь к реализации OLED телевизоров, чтобы сделать их доступными!

Я разочарован тем, что мы, как обозреватели, не смогли помочь плазме выстоять. Единственная плазма Panasonic, которая когда-либо у меня была – TC-P60GT30, сна стала первым телевизором, который по-настоящему удивил меня своим качеством изображения. Достижение жидкокристаллическими телевизорами верхнего уровня планки качества изображения оказалось поцелуем смерти для плазмы, что более всего досадно, так это то, что OLED телевизоры не совсем готовы, чтобы заполнить образовавшуюся нишу.

То, что Panasonic покидает редеющую когорту производителей плазм, еще один серьезный сигнал, свидетельствующий о высоком уровне готовности новых дисплейных технологий, качественные показатели которых смогут, наконец, превысить уровень качества лучших плазменных телевизоров, вот только им еще остается достичь доступного уровня цен. Последние плазменные предложения от Panasonic представляют собой вершину в качестве изображения и визуальном дизайне, кульминацию пиршества для глаз, и выход Panasonic из этого пространства печалит меня, даже несмотря на то, что мы с нетерпением ждем внедрения новых удивительных технологий.
