В целом видно, что UBI предпочитает OLED телевизоры LG, как предлагающие лучшие уровни черного и представляющие более натуральное изображение.<br /> <br />UBI считает, что телевизор Samsung отличается превосходной резкостью изображения, тогда как у HDTV LG была лучше контрастность (уровни черного цвета). <br />Картинка в OLED телевизорах Samsung страдает от чрезмерной коррекции гаммы для повышения яркости. Как уже отмечено, UBI считает, что у телевизора LG больше способностей для представления естественного изображения. Ключевыми показателями как правило являются  воспроизведение глубоких уровней черного цвета и связанная с ним контрастность. Оба телевизора продемонстрировали коэффициент контрастности более 100000:1, что превосходит пределы измерительного оборудования. При работе в условиях яркого освещения, изогнутый OLED телевизор LG продемонстрировал коэффициент контрастности 254, а модель  от Samsung только 130, половину значения телевизора LG.<br /><br />Согласно отчету, качество изображения OLED телевизоров было проанализировано тремя способами: качество изображения панели, качество изображения в соответствии с панелью и технологией видеообработки, качество изображения в соответствии с видеообработкой. Оценки велись по 16 параметрам, таким как контрастность, точность цвета, угол обзора, яркость, цветовая температура, потребление энергии. Исследователи надеются, что их отчет будет использоваться руководством компаний, разработчиками и специалистами в производстве OLED панелей.
