BBC считает, что "любой элитный проект теперь будет сниматься в разрешении 4K, используя камеры Red Epic, которые могут также снимать при высокой частоте кадров.<br /><br />BBC подготовила увлекательный документально-приключенческий сериал о дикой природе и снимает его уже на протяжении многих лет. ВВС заявляет что повышенное разрешение выводит новые фильмы на следующий уровень качества, поэтому было принято решение о начале перехода к формату 4К. При этом компания считает, что наверное еще несколько лет отделяет нас от перехода на телевещание в разрешении 4K, но это не останавливает их.<br /><br />BBC использует для съемки очередных серий камеры Red Epic, что немного удивительно, так как BBC долгое время работает с оборудованием Sony. BBC говорит, что в камерах Red Epic их устраивает поддержка разных скоростей съемки, установка и использование, за исключением съемок спецэффектов. Red Epic позволяет снимать от 60 до 150 кадров в секунду, что может привести к еще более высокому качеству изображения, чем просто переход от Full HD к Ultra HD (4K).
