LG будет делать и плазменные, и OLED телевизоры


После вчерашнего заявления Panasonic о прекращении производства плазменных телевизоров, компания LG сегодня подтвердила, что плазма будет оставаться важной частью ее модельного ассортимента.

"Мы признаем важность предоставления покупателям выбора. Плазменные телевизоры продолжают доказывать свою популярность, позволяя купить большие по размеру экраны по конкурентоспособным ценам, и поэтому остаются важной частью телевизионной линейки LG", – говорится в сообщении компании.

Но все же далее сообщается: "LG считает, ЖК и OLED технологии представляют будущее систем домашних развлечений и обеспечивают впечатляющее качество изображения".

Другими словами, LG будет продолжать производить плазменные экраны, пока есть спрос, и в отличие от Panasonic будет уделяет при этом внимание бюджетным моделям плазм, но компания видит будущее за OLED и 4K.
