Будучи флагманом в разработке технологии плазменных панелей в течение последних нескольких лет, после  прекращения производства легендарной плазмы Kuro от Pioneer, компания Panasonic подтвердила сегодня, что она тоже выходит из бизнеса плазменных телевизоров.<br /><br />Это означает, что нынешнее поколение плазменных телевизоров Panasonic, а именно ST60, GT60, VT60/VT65 и, конечно, ZT60/ZT65, лучшая плазменная панель из когда-либо созданных, будут последними в длинном ряду отличных плазменных телевизоров Panasonic.<br /><br />Компания Panasonic прекращает производство плазменных панелей в конце этого года и останавливает три завода в японском г. Amagasaki (только один из них сейчас работает) в конце марта 2014 года. Все продажи плазм Panasonic завершатся 31 марта 2014 года, поэтому тем, кто планировал покупку плазмы стоит поторопиться с приобретением, прежде чем все распродадут.<br /><br />Японский производитель сообщил, что это решение далось нелегко и подтвердил, что не уходит с телевизионного рынка и будет теперь концентрировать усилия вместо плазм на моделях жидкокристаллических и OLED телевизоров с разрешением 4K Ultra HD, таких как Panasonic WT600, продвигать на рынок свою технологии для 4K OLED телевизоров. <br /><br />До сих пор, в связи с превосходным качеством изображения, плазменные панели Panasonic, получали высокую оценку и имели спрос во всем мире. Тем не менее, в связи с быстрыми и резкими изменениями в состоянии рынка и снижением спроса на плазмы, был сделан вывод о том, что продолжение бизнеса будет трудным и было принято решение остановить производство.<br /><br />Только время покажет, продолжат ли корейские конкуренты Samsung и LG производить и продавать плазмы. Panasonic сделал свой выбор.
