Доходы сократились почти на 7%, по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года, до всего лишь $4,5 млрд. По данным компании, проблемы носят двоякий характер, сокращение выручки вызвано и глобальным падением спроса, и снижением цен. «Наиболее проблемным районом для LG стала Европа, разочаровывающие продажи в которой, все-таки компенсировали хорошие показатели на развивающихся рынках, таких как Азия, а также Россия и другие страны СНГ».<br /><br />По общему признанию, $ 4,5 млрд. все-таки неплохая прибыль, но LG намекает на желание увеличить этот показатель в третьем квартале за счет расширения продаж OLED и Ultra HD телевизоров, предлагая привлекательные и одновременно достаточно прибыльные для себя цены. Наибольших подвижек в ценах, наверное, стоит ожидать в Европе, как наиболее проблемном для LG регионе по итогам третьего квартала.
