Но сделка была сорвана и Philips намерен применить правовые меры против Funai. <br />По заявлению Philips, компания Funai отказалась выполнять свою часть договора,  поэтому Philips обратится в суд с иском о возмещении ущерба. Funai пока не дает комментариев по этому вопросу и неясно, почему они решили отказаться от сделки. <br /><br />Сейчас Philips восстанавливает контроль над подразделением аудио/видео техники и переименовывает его в инновационное подразделение WOOX со штаб-квартирой в Гонконге, с 2000 сотрудников и с годовым оборотом в 1,2 млрд. евро. <br /><br />Philips продолжит поиск других потенциальных покупателей, планируя сосредоточиться на таких сегментах рынка, как здравоохранение, системы освещения и бытовая техника.
