Сделать это пришлось в  самый неподходящий момент, когда продажи телевизоров падают, предложение превышает спрос.<br /><br />Samsung затягивал начало строительства завода в китайском г. Сучжоу в течение четырех лет, ссылаясь на избыток предложения на рынке ЖК панелей. Но в мае прошлого года пришлось начать строительство, так как китайское  правительство пригрозило отозвать концессию на строительство. Начать строительство завода стимулировали также планы китайского правительства повысить налоги на импорт в страну ЖК панелей. А китайский рынок телевизоров сегодня самый емкий и считается одним из самых перспективных.<br /><br />На заводе в Сучжоу компания Samsung планирует производить ЖК пластины размером 2500x2200 мм, из которых будут нарезаться 48 и 55-дюймовые Full HD и Ultra HD панели.
