Toshiba SBM1W настолько мала, что легко поместится на полке под телевизором. Простой черный дизайн контрастирует с серебристыми кнопками на верхней плоскости для регулировки громкости и эффекта объемного звучания, выбора входов и Bluetooth. В корпусе имеется небольшой, пассивный сабвуфер. <br /><br />Набор интерфейсов позволяет подключить сразу несколько устройств. Есть  оптический и коаксиальный цифровые входы, аналоговый стерео вход. Приятно видеть в этой ценовой категории Bluetooth, что позволяет передавать потоковую музыку без проводов. В обычном режиме, Toshiba SBM1W звучит как основной центральный динамик. Тем не менее, после использования режима 3D уже не захочется использовать обычный режим. И все-таки, этот приятный виртуальный 3D звук из небольшой коробки не следует путать с настоящей функцией объемного звучания.<br /><br />Качество звука довольно впечатляющее для крошечной системы с четырьмя среднечастотными динамиками, однако не хватает средних и низких частот. Частотный диапазон ограничен полосой от 95 Гц до 19 кГц. Несмотря на имеющиеся достоинства, 3D мини не может конкурировать с более дорогими звуковыми панелями, за которые, наверное, стоит доплатить.
