BBC и Sony задумали провести тестовые съемки в 4K разрешении Уимблдонского турнира нынешним летом.<br /><br />BBC возьмет на себя запись, а Sony будет поддерживать оборудование и экспертов в предстоящих съемках. Это не первый случай партнерства двух компаний на Уимблдоне. Ранее были совместно протестированы HD и 3D TV, другие технологии. Хотя 3D и не удалось пока добиться широкого признания среди обычных пользователей, но более перспективная технология 4K сможет добиться перемен в индустрии кино и телевидения с сотнями фильмов и телепередач в 4K разрешении, которые планируется запустить в ближайшие несколько лет.<br /><br />Для передачи по цифровым каналам связи ТВ сигнала в разрешении 4K с использованием кодека HEVC потребуются каналы с битрейтом 20 Мбит/c. Для Full HD нужны сегодня каналы с битрейтом 12 Мбит/c. Не слишком и большая разница. <br />
