После приобретения компанией Samsung незначительной доли (3 %) в уставном капитале Sharp появились сообщения о поставках на сборочные заводы Samsung продукции японского завода Sharp в г. Kameyama, который сейчас работает лишь на 60 % от проектной мощности.<br /><br />Sharp уже поставляет большие ЖК панели для  телевизоров Samsung, в течение лета ожидаются поставки 11,6-дюймовых ЖК панелей Sharp с использованием технологии IGZO, которые уже используются в собственных изделиях Sharp и поставляются для Apple.
