Предполагается возможность использования такой 3D технологии не только на экранах телевизоров, но и с мобильными устройствами.<br /><br />Создание 3D эффекта без очков невероятно сложно, потому что при этом необходимо представить два немного разные изображения для каждого глаза, воссоздавая эффект, известный как параллакс. В реальном мире наши глаза видят точно такие же изображения - они расположены в нескольких сантиметрах друг от друга, и поэтому воспринимают несколько отличающиеся изображения, требующие участия нашего мозга для сведению их в единый образ.<br /><br />Для того, чтобы воссоздать этот эффект без очков нужно перенаправить свет от каждого пикселя на экране так, чтобы каждый глаз получал немного разные изображения. Такой же принцип используется в голографии, только голографии является дорогостоящим методом, не практичным для видео. Сегодня придумано несколько новых методов отображения 3D без очков, но все они имеют свои ограничения, поскольку разрешение уменьшается, а эффект можно увидеть только при просмотре под правильным углом .<br /><br />Тем не менее, HP Labs работает, чтобы обойти эти ограничения с использованием новых оптических элементов, известных как дифракционные решетки, что позволяет им контролировать направление света, который исходит от каждого пикселя экрана. <br /><br />Новая 3D технология HP не требует очков, позволяет воспроизводить изображение в Full HD разрешении и наблюдать объемный эффект с позиций, имеющих 14 разных углов относительно экрана.
