Новый 35 мм CMOS сенсор обеспечивает высокую чувствительность при низких уровнях шумов и позволяет снимать видео высокого разрешения даже в условиях исключительно низкой освещенности.<br /><br />Недавно разработанный CMOS сенсор имеет размер пикселей в 19 кв. мкм, что более чем в 7,5-раза меньше площади пикселей в КМОП сенсорах топовой серии зеркальных камер Canon EOS-1D X. Кроме того, используются новые технологии для схем считывания с пикселей, которые снижают шум. Благодаря этим технологиям, сенсор облегчает отчетливую съемку видеоизображения даже в условиях слабого освещения с минимальной освещенностью 0,03 лк, что примерно равно яркости лунного освещения, при котором для невооруженного глаза трудно воспринимать объекты.<br /><br />Компания ищет также перспективные сферы использования для нового сенсора и видит их в  астрономических и природных наблюдениях, медицинских исследованиях, использовании для безопасности оборудования.
