В соответствии с условиями сделки, Funai выплатит денежное вознаграждение в размере 150 миллионов евро и в течение пяти лет будет выплачивать отчисления за использование торговой марки Philips, c возможностью последующих продлений по пять лет.<br /><br />Philips также сообщила о 355 млн. евро убытков за последние три месяца 2012 года. Потери вызваны в основном за счет 509 миллионов евро штрафа, наложенного на компанию в конце прошлого года Европейской антимонопольной комиссией за участие в ценовом сговоре еще в период продаж кинескопных моделей телевизоров и мониторов. <br /><br />Philips в прошлом году продала основную часть своего телевизионного бизнеса компании TPV из Гонконга, оставив за собой 30% долю.
