Компания собирается использовать бывший завод по производству ЖК панелей в г. Himeji  для изготовления панелей к 56-дюймовым OLED телевизорам, а также там будут производиться ЖК панели для 20-дюймовых 4К планшетов. Panasonic также считает, что OLED панели должны быть только с 4K разрешением, потому что нет смысла в продаже этой новой технологии с вчерашним разрешением.<br /><br />Панели для своих ЖК телевизоров Panasonic будет теперь покупать у других компаний, в частности у LG, именно поэтому ЖК телевизоры Panasonic будут в нынешнем году использовать пассивную 3D технологию с поляризационными очками.<br /><br />Плазменные панели производятся на другом заводе и будут выпускаться в полном объеме до тех пор, пока OLED технология не сможет заменить ЖК и плазменную, – так считает Panasonic, судя по неофициальным заявлениям представителей компании.<br /><br /><div align="center"><!--TBegin--><a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2013-01/1358183102_panasonic-oled2.jpg" onclick="return hs.expand(this)" ><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2013-01/thumbs/1358183102_panasonic-oled2.jpg" alt='Panasonic осваивает OLED производство' title='Panasonic осваивает OLED производство'  /></a><p class="thumb_enlarge"><img src="/engine/skins/images/enlarge.png" width="16" height="16" border="0">Кликните на картинку для ее увеличения</p><!--TEnd--></div><br /><br />При изготовлении OLED панелей Panasonic будет использовать печатную технологию нанесения на подложку трехцветных RGB источников. В панелях Panasonic будет использована управляющую структура с прозрачными электродами и эффективными оксидными TFT транзисторами, которую будет поставлять Sony, как партнер по совместной разработке OLED панелей. <br /><br />Покупателям лишь остается надеяться, что эта перспективная кооперация известных японских производителей действительно позволит снизить стоимость OLED технологии, которая у корейских производителей уже выросла в цене с $7000 до полумиллиона рублей за 55-дюймовый телевизор, продажи которых теперь обещают в марте нынешнего года у LG, у Samsung в течение года.
