Как известно в прошлом году обе компании начали совместную разработку OLED панелей на основе метода струйной печати OLED источников на подложку панели.<br /><br />Способ струйной печати должен позволить Sony и Panasonic изготавливать малые и большие OLED телевизоры на основе более экономичного и гибкого производства. Panasonic подтверждает в пресс-релизе, что 56-дюймовая OLED панель была разработана в сотрудничестве с Sony. Panasonic также сообщает, что OLED телевизор имеет уровень яркости 500 кд/кв. м, которых более чем достаточно для просмотра в условиях гостиной. OLED телевизор Panasonic имеет толщину 8,9 мм и весит 12,9 килограммов.
