Больше смогли продать только Samsung и LG. Таким образом, TCL превзошла японскую Sony. Правда, при этом следует учитывать, что основным рынком сбыта TCL по-прежнему является Китай, тогда как модели Sony пользуются спросом во всем мире. <br /><br />На международном рынке за первые три квартала 2012 года продажи телевизоров TCL выросли на 75,97%, до 4,878 млн. штук. В КНР доля TCL на рынке ТВ составляет 18,7%, на мировом – 6,7% (данные DisplaySearch за III квартал 2012 года).<br /><br />TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd (TCL) сегодня является крупным китайским производителем электроники. Компания TCL образована 1981 году по решению правительства Китая. В 1992 году в эту компанию инвестировали средства такие крупные производители, как Panasonic, Toshiba и Philips.<br /><br />TCL была пионером среди китайских компаний на европейском рынке. В настоящее время TCL занимается производством кондиционеров, домашних бытовых приборов, телевизоров, персональных компьютеров, телефонов и другой продукции. В 2002 году TCL приобрела немецкую фирму Schneider Electronics, в 2003 году выкупила 67% акций французской компании Thomson, а затем приобрела полные права на торговую марку Thomson для телевизоров.<br />
