Незадолго до Нового Года первый канал переходит на вещание в формате высокой четкости. Из общедоступных федеральных телеканалов он сделает это первым. <br /><br />Разрешение картинки высокого разрешения составит 1920х1080 50i, будет использоваться кодирование в формате MPEG H.264 AVC.<br /><br />Очевидно, что несмотря на этот переход, увидеть картинку Первого канала в высоком разрешении смогут далеко не все. Виной тому окажутся кабельные операторы и эфирные ретрансляторы, которые доставляют  ТВ сигнал в ваш дом. На начальном этапе картинку в высокой четкости увидят абоненты НТВ+, Триколор, некоторых кабельных и IP сетей.
