Отличительными особенностями нового телевизора являются огромный 84-дюймовый экран со сверхчетким изображением, с разрешение 2160p, что в 4 раза выше Full HD, и 2.2-канальная акустическая система.<br /><br />3D телевизор Ultra HD от LG имеет разрешение 8 млн. пикселей в кадре (3840x2160), что в четыре раза превышает разрешение существующих телевизионных панелей Full HD, в значительной степени благодаря передовой технологии LG Triple XD Engine. Дополнительная функция Resolution Upscaler Plus адаптирует изображение для этого телевизора с жестких дисков, веб-сайтов и даже оптимизирует созданный пользователями контент.<br /> <br />Технология CINEMA 3D создает впечатляющее трехмерное изображение с максимальным эффектом погружения. Функция 3DDepth Control позволяет зрителям регулировать глубину трехмерного изображения. А функция 3D Sound Zooming обеспечивает объемный звук.<br /><br />С помощью усовершенствованного пульта дистанционного управления LG Magic Remote пользователи могут легко управлять телевизором и перемещаться в  интернете. 84-дюймовой Ultra HDTV имеет доступ к платформе LGSmart TV, которая включает в себя более 500 приложений и увеличивающееся числу онлайн-сервисов, как, например, 3D World с широким ассортиментом кинофильмов и игр. Технология Smart Share Plus позволяет передавать на телевизор контент с портативных устройств, таких как ноутбуки, мобильные телефоны, планшеты и устройства на базе флэш-памяти.
