Необходимо отметить, что с начала работы компании Japan Display прошло чуть более полугода и за это время она продемонстрировала несколько впечатляющих ЖК панелей малого и среднего размера. Теперь дошел черед и до OLED технологии, благо в закромах интеллектуальных ресурсов Japan Display есть прежние разработки Sony. Japan Display приступила к разработке OLED панелей сразу после создания компании (апрель 2012 года), комбинируя технологии Sony, Toshiba и Hitachi.<br /><br /><div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2012-11/1352106065_jp2.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2012-11/1352106065_jp2.jpg" alt="Japan Display демонстрирует свой первый OLED дисплей с плотностью 326 ppi" title="Japan Display демонстрирует свой первый OLED дисплей с плотностью 326 ppi"  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />Новая 4,5-дюймовая OLED панель разрешением 1280 х 720 и плотностью пикселей 326 ppi начнет массово производиться с 2014 года. В OLED панели Japan Display (также как и в последних OLED панелях LG) использованы четыре белых светодиода и четыре цветных фильтра красного, зеленого, синего и белого цветов. <br /><br />Максимальная яркость полностью белого  экрана составляет 400-500 кд / кв. м. Коэффициент контрастности более 10 000:1 и около 90% охват цветовой гаммы стандарта NTSC. Но Japan Display намерена добиться 100% результата в массовом производстве.
