Квартальная прибыль Samsung выросла почти вдвое до 5,97 млрд.<br /><br />Мобильное подразделение принесло компании половину дохода ($23,9 млрд.), что на 82% больше показателя соответствующего прошлогоднего квартала. Смартфоны Galaxy S3 и Note 2 стали двигателями развития бизнеса компании. Увеличились продажи и LTE смартфонов, но высокая конкуренция снизила рентабельность их производства. По независимым оценкам Samsung в минувшем квартале продала около 56,3 млн. мобильных телефонов.<br /><br />Подразделение Samsung Display увеличило операционную прибыль на 19% ($1 млрд).<br /><br />Подразделение по выпуску микросхем можно сказать провалило план, сократив операционную прибыль на 28% до $1,05 млрд., в первую очередь из-за падения спроса на модули памяти DRAM.
