Ранее Samsung обвинил LG в краже своих OLED секретов. LG утверждает, что Samsung нарушает семь OLED патентов LG и хочет, чтобы суд остановил продажи планшетов и смартфонов Samsung Galaxy, в том числе Galaxy SIII, Galaxy SII, Galaxy SII HD, Galaxy Note и Galaxy Tab 7.7. <br /><br />LG просит компенсацию за моральный ущерб около $ 6,25 млн. и заявляет: "Этот иск был подан в целях обеспечения и соблюдения прав интеллектуальной собственности LG Display и содействия добросовестной конкуренции. Samsung Electronics и Samsung Display должны прекратить несанкционированное использование патентов LG " .<br /><br />Это может стать началом долгой и утомительной битвы между двумя южнокорейского гигантами электроники. OLED технология уже считается будущей дисплейной технологией. Глобальный рынок OLED дисплеев оценивается в сумму около 80 миллиардов долларов США.
