Таким образом, беспроводной интерфейс Apple AirPlay получает очень серьезного конкурента. Miracast призван упростить и ускорить процесс соединения, обеспечить автоматическую совместимость форматов медиафайлов на передающем и приемном конце. <br /><br />О разработке чипов с поддержкой Miracast уже объявили Broadcom, NVIDIA, Texas Instruments и Qualcomm. Внедрять новый стандарт в свои смартфоны, планшеты, телеприставки и телевизоры намерены LG, Samsung и Sony.<br /><br />Первыми получили сертификат Miracast смартфоны LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy S III и телевизоры семейства Samsung Echo-P. <br />
