Пока DirecTV, несмотря на периодическое снижение числа абонентов, неуклонно наращивает свою абонентскую базу в Соединенных Штатах.<br /><br />DirecTV вещает в США с нескольких спутников. Компания предлагает более 285 телеканалов в стандартном разрешении и более 170 каналов высокой четкости. DirecTV является вторым на рынке платного телевидения в США, уступая лишь кабельному оператору Comcast.
