ЖК телевизоров по всему миру, что значительно превышает долю их ближайших конкурентов LG и Sony, хотя этот показатель и снизился примерно на 37% по сравнению с четвертым кварталом 2011 года. Сейчас Samsung имеет 19% долю продаж ЖК телевизоров во всем мире.<br /><br />Несмотря на очевидное доминирование Samsung, есть признаки того, что его лидерство находится под угрозой после серьезного роста основного конкурента LG, который отработал лучше, чем кто-либо в первом квартале этого года.<br />Общая доля LG в производстве ЖК телевизоров выросла за последний период, с 13% до 15%.<br /><br />В отличие от других брендов, которые пытались ликвидировать убыточные подразделения,  Samsung и LG были готовы к расширению производства в наиболее прибыльных секторах, несмотря на слабый рынок.
