По решению суда присяжных Toshiba должна выплатить $ 87 млн., остальные компании гораздо больше. <br /><br />И только Toshiba официально оспаривает решение суда и не собирается платить ни цента.  Toshiba считает, что не совершала никаких противоправных действий на американском рынке и уверена, что компании не придется платить троекратный штраф, который положен по американскому антимонопольному законодательству в случае подтверждения приговора суда первой инстанции.<br /><br />Тайваньская AU Optronics несколько ранее тоже решила бороться с обвинением американского суда двум высокопоставленным руководителям компании. Теперь AU Optronics грозит штраф в размере до 1 миллиарда долларов.<br /><br />Toshiba должна вернуть 70 миллионов долларов покупателям, которые приобрели ее телевизоры и 17 миллионов производителям, которые используют ЖК панели компании.
