Прозрачные линзы очков при необходимости будут выполнять роль дисплеев. Для дополнения в оголовья очков встроены наушники, спереди есть встроенная камера. Управление отдельными функциями и обмен информацией можно будет выполнять с помощью взмахов ресниц или направления взгляда. Так, вместо того чтобы попросить  номер телефона у идущей в таких же очках девушки (или имеющей совместимый с системой смартфон), нужно будет просто пристально на нее посмотреть.<br /><br />Очки-дисплеи будут выполнять также роль солнцезащитных или даже обычных оптических очков. Возможно использование дополнительного дисплея в виде наручных часов, который будет синхронизирован с очками.<br /><br />В нынешнем году Sony продает персональный 3D дисплей на базе очков. А вообще компания занимается разработкой подобных концепций с 2008 года.
