Ее толщина составляет 0,11 мм, а разрешение 960х540 пикселей, с плотностью 111 ppi. Панель воспроизводит, как минимум, 100% цветовую гамму по ТВ стандарту NTSC.<br /><br />OLED панель выполнена на основе белых OLED источников с цветными фильтрами и интегрированной на пластиковой подложке системе управления с транзисторами TFT IGZO, впервые реализованной в дисплеях Sharp.<br /><br />Sony заявляет, что для производства были выбраны наиболее удобные при массовом выпуске технологические процессы. Используемая температура не превышает 100 градусов. Слой OLED излучателей и управляющих TFT элементов формируется между двумя стеклянными пластинами, которые после изготовления удаляются.<br /><br />В прошлом году компания представляла  аналогичный работающий дисплей, в два раза меньше размером. В этом году  Sony показала новую гибкую OLED панель на экране ноутбука. "Мы только что изготовили опытные образцы и не имели времени, чтобы оценить их надежность", – говорится в сообщении компании.
