Появлялись также сообщения о переговорах с LG о закупках у корейского производителя OLED панелей.<br /><br />Однако, cудя по последним сообщениям, Sony будет сотрудничать с тайваньской компанией AU Optronics, известным производителем ЖК продукции, ускоренно переводящим сейчас свое OLED производство на выпуск больших OLED панелей. IGZO позволяет отказаться от кремния для изготовления систем управления отдельными пикселями панелей и при этом дает значительный относительный выигрыш в энергопотреблении на пиксель дисплея.
