Такой вывод можно сделать на основании заключенного соглашения о партнерстве с Sharp по производству больших ЖК панелей на заводе Sharp в японском городе Сакаи. Этот завод одно из наиболее современных и крупных предприятий в мире по производству жидкокристаллических панелей. <br /><br />Sony недавно сделала небольшие финансовые вливания в производство, получив за это долю 7.04 % в предприятии. Дальнейшие планы по сотрудничеству будут скорректированы в сентябре после трехмесячного «испытательного срока». Данное соглашение является реанимацией заключенного между этими компаниями еще в 2009 году, но не имевшего серьезного практического значения. <br /><br />После прекращения партнерства Sony с Samsung в производстве ЖК панелей на совместном предприятии в Корее, Sony получила от Samsung свою долю в денежном эквиваленте и в официальном заявлении по этому поводу представители Sony сообщили, что при необходимости теперь будут заказывать у Samsung необходимое им количество ЖК панелей. Но, как говорится у русских, видно не судьба.
