А недавно заместитель президента отделения домашних развлекательных продуктов, Нориаки Негиши, заявил, что Sony планирует активно продвигать новые собственные технологии и разработки, в том числе и OLED телевизоры, в 2013 году.<br /><br />В настоящее время Sony прекратила почти десятилетнее сотрудничество по производству ЖК панелей с Samsung и собирается по мере технологических потребностей покупать их у других компаний, предположительно у Sharp и LG. Есть сообщения, что на переговорах с LG речь шла и об OLED панелях.<br /><br />Нориаки Негиши также подтвердил информацию о том, что Sony будет активно развивать 3D технологию с недорогими поляризационными очками, наиболее активным оппонентом которой она была в прошлом году, совместно с Samsung. Первые 3D телевизоры Sony с поляризационными очками появятся также в следующем году.<br /><br />Стоит напомнить, что Sony первой начала серийное производство OLED HDTV, но прекратила из-за низкого спроса пару лет назад. Сейчас Sony изготавливает на основе той технологии в основном профессиональные OLED мониторы. <br />
