В прошлом году Haier демонстрировала аналогичный прототип на основе 32 дюймовой панели. Нынешний экземпляр, по заявлению компании, также пока останется лишь экспериментальной моделью.<br /><br />Видеосигнал телевизор принимает через высокоскоростной интерфейс WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface), источником питания служит индукционный адаптер в подставке дисплея. Электрическая энергия в виде электромагнитных волн  излучается подключенным к электрической сети специальным трансформатором, который располагается в тумбе-подставке и должен находиться на расстоянии не более 20 см от подставки телевизора.
