В конце декабря компания представила модель 55 дюймового OLED HDTV. Корпус нового OLED телевизора тоньше карандаша или ручки, по заявлению LG менее 5 мм.<br /><br />Супер высокое качество изображения на экране сверхтонкой панели – таков новый телевизор LG. По мере совершенствования и удешевления производства OLED панели должны полностью вытеснить популярные сегодня плазменные и жидкокристаллические дисплеи. Новый HDTV компании LG выделяется беспрецедентно высокими техническими параметрами. Такая конструкция позволила добиться высококачественного изображения при одновременном снижении производственных затрат, а это означает, что 55-ти дюймовый OLED телевизор будет чуть более доступным для покупателей. Данная модель будет демонстрироваться в начале января на выставке в США, а в продажу поступит перед Лондонской Олимпиадой.
