И, похоже, что LG теперь не будет, по крайней мере основным, поставщиком ЖК дисплеев для Apple. Sharp уже получил от Apple от 500 млн. до 1 млрд. долларов инвестиций в завод по производству ЖК дисплеев среднего и малого размера, расположенный в Китае  в городе Nanjing.<br /><br />Есть сообщения о том, что Apple заключила с Sharp соглашение о производстве OLED дисплеев для очередного поколения планшетников и смарфонов Apple. Причем в производстве OLED дисплеев будет использована более дешевая <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/news/industry/11477-televizory-s-pechatnymi-oled-ekranami-skoro-v-prodazhe.html" >«печатная» OLED технология</a>.
