Осаму Миура – исполнительный директор Sony в интервью катарскому информационному ресурсу Gulf Times заявил, что компания готовится к производству в ближайшие три-четыре года, безочковых 3D телевизоров, телевизоров на основе OLED экранов и моделей с поддержкой разрешения 4K. <br /><br />Сказано было также, что Sony планирует сконцентрировать усилия на OLED технологии, т.к. через три-четыре года начнется массовый переход с ЖК моделей на OLED. Осаму Миура считает, что со временем все большее распространение получат модели с разрешением 4К и в настоящее время у Sony уже есть четыре проектора с поддержкой такого разрешения.<br /><br />Отвечая на вопрос о продуктах, которые можно ожидать от Sony в первом и втором кварталах 2012 года, Миура подчеркнул отличное качество цифровых зеркальных (DSLR) камер Sony и особенно новой Alpha SLT-A77.<br /><br />Sony в настоящее время является самым популярным брендом в Катаре.<br />
