Между тем, Samsung не захотел далеко отпускать своего основного конкурента на рынке HDTV и также подготовил опытный экземпляр (прототип) будущих 55 дюймовых OLED телевизоров Samsung.<br /><br />В следующем месяце Samsung и LG собираются демонстрировать свои 55 дюймовые дисплеи на выставке FPD 2011 в Японии. Но реальное массовое производство OLED панелей такого большого размера ожидается только в 2013-2014 годах, хотя LG и заявила о поставках 55 дюймовой OLED модели телевизора в Европу уже в следующем году.<br /><br />Необходимо отметить, что OLED панели Samsung и LG будут производиться на основе разных технологических процессов и соответственно будут отличаться какими-то параметрами, как и производимые ныне ЖК панели Samsung и LG.<br />
