Как известно, некогда один из ярких лидеров телевизионного рынка уже восьмой год подряд имеет финансовые убытки в телевизионном секторе своего бизнеса. Виной тому может быть агрессивная ценовая политика корейских конкурентов, с одним из которых к тому же Sony поддерживает тесные партнерские отношения, развивая аналогичные типы жидкокристаллической технологии. Как известно, Sоny и Samsung имеют совместное предприятие по производству ЖК панелей для телевизоров.<br /><br />В связи с последними осложнениями и падением сбыта телевизоров у Sony, появились предложения разорвать партнерские отношения с Samsung и покинуть совместное предприятие. Однако руководители японской компании, которые  в течение месяца должны найти и обнародовать рецепт спасения, заявляют, что не рассматривают этот вариант и не собираются продавать свои заводы по производству телевизоров. Их сейчас у Sony насчитывается четыре. Один находится в Японии, остальные в других странах. Кстати за последние годы Sоny уже продала несколько своих предприятий, в т.ч. в Европе, но особого эффекта этот метод реструктуризации видимо не дал.<br />  <br /><div align="center"><!--dle_image_begin:http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-08/1312538486_sony2.jpg|--><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2011-08/1312538486_sony2.jpg" alt="Sony не уйдет из TB бизнеса" title="Sony не уйдет из TB бизнеса"  /><!--dle_image_end--></div><br /><br />По появляющимся сообщениям зарубежных источников, Sony сфокусируется на секторе высококачественных телевизоров, отдав сегмент недорогих моделей, где у нее больше всего убытков, корейским конкурентам. Есть сообщения, что рассматриваются варианты более широкого производства техники под маркой Sony в странах с дешевой рабочей силой. <br /><br />Как бы то ни было, руководство компании заявило, что телевизионный бизнес для Sony очень важен, и компания не собирается покидать этот рынок.
