Cерия будет включать две новые модели: 47 дюймововую ( 47LW9800) и 55 дюймовую (55LW9800) с разрешением Full HD (1920 x 1080) и впечатляющей контрастностью 10 000000:1. Главная особенность этих телевизоров – полная LED подсветка с использованием технологии LG Nano. Эта технология использует для подсветки ЖК панели чрезвычайно тонкую пленка с миниатюрными отверстиями, которая помогает более равномерно рассеивать свет по всему экрану, чтобы создать яркое, четкое и плавное изображение в динамичных сценах. <br /><br />Телевизоры LG LW9800 используют поляризационную 3D технологию, которая не обладает мерцанием картинки на экране, о чем у компании LG есть соответствующая сертификация от двух авторитетных европейских центров сертификации. А используемые для просмотра очки отличаются крайне низкой стоимостью. Встроенный конвертор 2D/3D позволяет смотреть в объемном виде практически любой материал.<br /><br />В продажу телевизоры LG9800  судя по всему поступят после выставки IFA 2009, которая пройдет в Германии с 2 по 7 сентября.<br />
