Крупным финансовым партнером и донором при этом выступает японский инвестиционный фонд Innovation Network, который поддерживается правительством Японии, и который будет владеть 70-80% акций новой компании. Sony и Toshiba разделят оставшиеся акции. После слияния японская сторона надеется более успешно конкурировать с южнокорейскими Samsung и LG, которые намереваются уже в ближайшее время запустить на полную мощность свои новые заводы по производству больших OLED панелей для телевизоров. <br /><br />Создание альянса не подтверждается представителями компаний. Но японская Nikkei сообщает, что слияние дисплейных мощностей Sony и Toshiba ожидается к концу 2011 года. <br />
