Плотность размещения отдельных элементов изображения на таком дисплее будет достигать 300 точек на дюйм, что очень близко к показателю дисплея iPhone 4, который обладает показателем 326 ppi (точек на дюйм).<br /><br />Новая LCD панель Samsung выполнена на основе пиксельной структуры  PenTile RGBW, в которой к традиционным красному, синему и зеленому субпикселям добавлен белый. Данное решение позволяет получить более яркие дисплеи с повышенным разрешением и меньшим энергопотреблением.<br /><br />Samsung заявляет что пока не планирует массового производства таких дисплеев. Планшетный компьютер Samsung Galaxy Tab имеет сейчас 10 дюймовую панель с разрешением 1280x800. Apple iPad 2 обладает разрешением 1024x768. Появились слухи о том, что Apple собирается использовать дисплей с HD разрешением, но они пока не подтверждены.<br />
