Устройство выполнено на базе процессора Realtek 1185, с пользовательским интерфейсом на основе эффектной технологии Flash. В Prodigy HD имеется слот для 3,5-дюймового жесткого диска с интерфейсом SATA и поддержкой емкости до 3 терабайт, плеер оснащен 256 МБ быстрой оперативной памяти и 512  МБ флеш-памяти. <br /><br />Устройство может воспроизводить потоковое видео через порты USB, Gigabit Ethernet, картридер. Поддерживаются следующие интерфейсы: HDMI, композитный видео/аудио, SPDIF коаксиальный и оптический. Опционально можно приобрести Wi-Fi адаптер и ТВ-тюнер. При соединении с интернет поддерживается несколько видеосервисов и прочих ресурсов: Mediafly, Google Talk, Last FM, Pandora, Facebook и другие.<br /><br />Xtreamer Prodigy HD появится в продаже с апреля, по ориентировочной стоимости 150 евро. К предстоящей выставке CeBIT 2011 Xtreamer  подготовила также компактный мультимедийный компьютер (HTPC) Xtreamer Ultra.<br />
