На этот раз объектом возмущения стала компания «Видеосервис», издающая фильмы из каталога студии «Columbia\Sony». Подписавшиеся под письмом считают, что релизы «Видеосервиса» не отвечают высочайшим требованиям формата Blu-ray: практически на всех дисках компании нет русских субтитров, меню тоже только англоязычное. Можно еще понять, что большинство любителей кино стараются смотреть фильм в оригинале, то есть для них наличие подстрочника не смертельно. А как же насчет людей с ограниченным слуховыми возможностями? Для них субтитры - самая прямая необходимость.<br /><br />С техническими характеристиками у «Видеосервиса» тоже не всегда все в порядке. Большинство релизов выпускаются спустя 4-6 месяцев после премьеры картины в кинотеатрах, и с изображением и звуком у них все в порядке. Однако есть и диски («Мачете», «Стоун», «Безумцы»), изданные безобразно: без оригинальной звуковой дорожки, дополнительных материалов, зато с хорошенько подпорченным видеорядом. Что неудивительно, данные диски вышли в течение месяца после старта проката лент. <br /><br />Участники этого форума уже писали петицию в компанию «СОЮЗ-ВИДЕО» в марте 2010 года из-за отвратительных изданий по всем параметрам. Подействовало ли оно или нет - неизвестно. Делать какие-либо выводы пока что рано. Однако, в конце января 2011 года в продажу поступило переиздание «Острова проклятых» с исправленным трансфером, улучшенным звуком, оригинальной дорожкой, субтитрами и переведенными дополнительными материалами. То есть издание, соответствующее формату Blu-ray.
