Я говорю не с точки зрения потребителей, конечно. Смотреть фильмы на Blu-ray здорово, но процесс лицензирования очень сложен… Мы подождем до тех пор, пока все стабилизируется и Blu-ray захватит рынок.  Мы не хотим обременять наших потребителей высокой стоимостью на лицензии и высокими ценами на приводы’’.  <br />Хотя Apple является членом Blu-ray Disc Association, компания, скорее всего, не хочет добавлять к стоимости своих продуктов стоимость Blu-ray приводов.  Так, например, последние компьютеры MacBook и MacBook Pro оснащены более мощным процессором и графической картой и продаются по меньшей цене. В случае уплаты вознаграждений BDA (около $30 за каждую единицу) данное предложение уже не будет выглядеть столь заманчивым. <br />
