На конференции  Entertainment Supply Chain Academy президент технических операций в Warner Bros. Дарси Антонелли (Darcy Antonellis ) сделала акцент на том, что Blu-ray диски кампании, оснащенные сервисом BD-Live появятся уже в конце 2008 года.<br /><br /> Кроме применения одной из самых современных технологий интерактивного сервиса BD-Live, появится возможность «просмотра в режиме реального времени»,  возможность поиска, доступа в библиотеку и т.д.<br /><br />Так же имеется возможность загрузки в режиме реального времени доступного контента, удаленных сцен и трейлеров, обоев и мелодий, также доступна просмотра картинка-в-картинке. Антонелли также добавила, что  веб-контент приживется быстрее, нежели  контент на DVD доступный через DVD-ROM. В качестве примера Антонелли привела видеоигры, а также успех некоторых веб-сайтов, доступных потребителям. <br /><br />«Я считаю, что сервис BD-Live сможет конкурировать с такими ресурсами как MySpace и YouTube, поскольку каждый из них используется в режиме он-лайн, и именно BD-Live способен создать новое сообщество пользователей. И это очень много значит для нас», сказал Антонелли.<br /><br />Хотя студия пока не утвердила список фильмов, которые будут оснащаться сервисом BD-Live, Антонелли сообщила, что фильм «Темный рыцарь» является одним из возможных и желаемых кандидатов. <br /><br />«Этот сервис предлагает эксклюзивные возможности для тех, у кого есть плеер с поддержкой профиля Profile 2.0 и теперь мы не ограничены емкостью дисков Blu-ray как таковых», добавила она. <br />
