Студия Paramount Home Entertainment объявила, что собирается выпустить более 20 фильмов на Blu-ray.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-05/1212244170_paramount20logo.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Paramount вспомнила про Blu-Ray' title='Paramount вспомнила про Blu-Ray' /></div><br />Фильмы, среди которых такие как «Спящая лощина», «Лара Крофт: расхитительница гробниц», «Миссия: невполнима 3». Ранее студия собиралась выпустить на Blu-ray эти фильмы в 2006-2007 году, но перейдя на формат HD DVD в августе, отказалась от своих планов относительно Blu-Ray релизов этих картин. <br /><br />Согласно словам представителя Paramount, студия вновь решила начать выпуск фильмов на Blu-ray. На сайтах Amazon.com и Newbury Comics большинство фильмов доступны уже с 27 мая. <br /><br />Также в каталог фильмов, готовящяхся к выходу на Blu-ray студии Paramount входят  “World Trade Center”, “U2:Rattle & Hum”, “Mission Impossible 1& 2”, “Nacho Libre”, “We Were Soldiers”, “The Manchurian Candidate”, “Coming t America”, “Failure to Launch”, “Disturbia”, “Shooter” и “The Warriors: Ultimate  Director’s Cut”. <br />Paramount решила сначала выпустить на Blu-ray фильмы, уже проверенные временем. В день релиза фильмов на Blu-ray выходит также их DVD-версия . 3 июня компания также выпустит фильмы «Нефть» и «Монстро». <br /><br />Один из покупателей Newbury сказал, что здорово, когда есть возможность выбрать из большого количества фильмов. <br />Ведь, когда студия выпускала фильмы на HD DVD, то количество фильмов было не особо впечатляющим. <br />
