Компания Bandai Visual заявила, что намерена уже в этом году выпустить на Blu-ray сиквел известного японского аниме “Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence”, однако точная дата пока не известна.

Вторая часть аниме была выпущена в Японии на Blu-ray в прошлом году компанией Disney. На официальном сайте компании Bandai появилось сообщение о том, что в настоящее время она готовится в 2008 году выпустить на внутреннем рынке Blu-ray и переиздание DVD версии.
Следует отметить, что ранее фильм в высоком разрешении появился в США. Информации о технических характеристиках или дополнительных материалах пока не поступало, вместе с тем, Bandai сообщила, что на диске будет присутствовать дубляж на английском языке и различные бонусные материалы. На ближайшие несколько недель станет известна розничная цена на Blu-ray версию фильма.
