В основе этого чипа лежит технология SH-MobileHD1.<br /><br />Процессор Renesas SH7370 поддерживает формат MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. Мобильник на базе этого чипа сможет воспроизводить и записывать видео с разрешением 1080р со скоростью 30 кадров в секунду.<br /><br />Кроме того, SH7370 поддерживает стандарт HDMI. Это позволяет передавать с телефона на его основе Full HD-видео на различную электронику. Например, на ЖК-телевизор.<br /><br />Размеры SH7370 составляют 10 на 11 миллиметров. При этом он включает 512 мегабайт памяти и два чипа для обработки аудио сигнала. Последние позволяют мобильному устройству на базе SH7370 работать с пятиканальным звуком.<br /><br />Renesas SH7370 не первый мобильный процессор, работающий с видео высокой четкости. В конце 2007 года компания Qualcomm выпустила мобильный чип Snapdragon. Он поддерживает воспроизведение HD-видео с разрешение 720р.
