Средства отображения стереоскопической картинки на экране сегодня широко востребованы в таких сферах применения, как архитектура, машинное проектирование, гидродинамическое моделирование, обучение и развлечение. Убедить инвестора профинансировать многомиллионный строительный проект практически невозможно без подготовки демонстрационной 3D-модели. Наилучший эффект от демонстрации будет достигнут, конечно же, при использовании систем стереоскопического отображения. Именно для таких целей норвежская компания Projectiondesign разработала 3D-проектор F10 AS3D (Active Stereo 3D), который был продемонстрирован на прошедшем недавно техническом семинаре фирмы "Русский стиль". В противоположность подходам, описанным нами в техническом обзоре "Системы трехмерной визуализации", компания Projectiondesign предлагает использовать не два, а лишь один проектор. Помимо удешевления это означает обретение мобильности: разъездные 3D-презентации становятся реальностью.

Модель F10 AS3D основана на одноматричной DLP-технологии и предполагает использование зрителями активных очков с управляемыми ЖК-затворами. Цветоделящее колесо проектора вращается с удвоенной скоростью, за оборот создавая картинку то для левого глаза, то для правого (120 раз в секунду). Для синхронизации ЖК-затворов активных очков используется ИК-интерфейс.

Проектор снабжен двумя входами VGA и двумя DVI-I, которые удобно подсоединить к двум соответствующим выходам графической платы компьютера. Соответственно внутри устройства предусмотрены два блока цифровой обработки сигнала и коммутатор, переключающий их сигналы перед подачей на DMD-матрицу. Помимо этого аппарат имеет вход и выход для внешней кадровой синхронизации. Их можно использовать при построении многопроекторных систем и создании видеостен со сшивкой нескольких изображений. В комплекте поставляется ИК-модуль, обеспечивающий управление активными очками зрителей. Сами очки легкие и выглядят так, словно не содержат никакой электронной начинки, тем более батарей.

В очках применены быстрые ЖК-затворы, способные переключаться 120 раз в секунду. Вносимые ими специфические цветовые искажения компенсируются специальным алгоритмом обработки сигнала в проекторе. После того, как зритель надевает очки, картинка на экране обретает глубину, а предметы становятся объемными. Эффект присутствия ощущается явно, несмотря на то, что возможности заглядывать за грани предметов стереоскопическая система не дает.

Физическое разрешение матрицы аппарата равно 1400×1050 точек; световой поток — 2000 ANSI-лм. Срок службы лампы в экономичном режиме достигает 3000 ч. Масса устройства — 3,5 кг. Возможна поставка с вариообъективом и фиксированным короткофокусным объективом. Как сообщил директор по маркетингу и продажам в странах EMEA Тьерри Оливье, продажи модели Projectiondesign F10 AS3D в России начнутся с января 2009 г.

После того, как спрос на стандартные проекторы для презентаций перестал увеличиваться двузначными темпами, аналитики прочат сегменту 3D-проекторов быстрый рост. Думается, что именно такие модели, как Projectiondesign F10 AS3D позволят новой технологии постепенно выйти в массы. Правда, докладчикам потребуется изменить подход к созданию презентаций: PowerPoint уже не подойдет. А производители ноутбуков должны будут представить модели с двумя разъемами для внешних мониторов.
